  • Origó day 24/11/2017

    With 130 participants, we call Origó day a success. The program attracted EKU students and educators as well as students from Andrássy, Gárdonyi and Neumann secondary schools. Following a lively lecture on Origo language exams, the participants had the opportunity to take a written and oral mock exam in English, German or French. We are extremely thankful to Dr. Lucia Katona and Mrs. Zsuzsanna Spéderné Négyesi from Origó Language Centre for their contribution to this successful event.

    On Friday 20 October students of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course participated, with their teacher Judit Tóth, in a one day study tour in order to get more familiar with the city of Miskolc and its surroundings.

    On Friday 6 October the students of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course participated, with their teacher Judit Tóth, in a one day study tour in order to get more familiar with the Hungarian capital.

  • Sightseeing tour in Eger

    On 29th September 2017, as usually at the beginning of the semester, the international students of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course participated, with their teacher Judit Tóth in a study tour in the center of Eger.

  • Level test

    Nearly a thousand first-year students wrote the language level test on 8th September.

  • Origo meeting

    Origo Language centre and Eszterházy Károly University Jászberény Campus organised a meeting where the last year renewed Origo type of written language exam and its assessment critera was introduced to those being interested.

  • Language Examination Infoday on the Gyöngyös Campus

    On April 29, a ’Language Examination Information Day’ took place at the Gyöngyös Károly Róbert Campus of Eszterházy Károly University. The event started with the opening speech of Interim Vice Rector for Campus Affairs Dr Zoltán Bujdosó.

  • CONFERENCE FOR LANGUAGE TEACHERS

    On Saturday, 22nd April 2017 the teachers of the institute took part in the methodological conference in Budapest titled “Cooperation and Responsibility in Language Teaching”.

  • Day-trip to Budapest and Szentendre

    On Friday 7 April students of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course participated, with their teacher Judit Tóth, in a one day study tour in order to get more familiar with the Hungarian capital and also with the small town of Szentendre.

  • Successful international evenings

    As each semester, students of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course have presented their country during the traditional international evening, organised in B building between 20-24 March.

  • Sightseeing tour in Eger

    On 3 and 17 March, in the frame of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course, 30 international students from 10 different countries participated, with their teacher Judit Tóth in a study tour in the center of Eger.
